A YOUNG ADULT HORROR NOVEL
Ade Burton discovers London’s streets are not paved with gold. Disenchanted, broke, homeless, jobless, his life is a disaster, his only option? Go home to Manchester. His last night in London is spent sleeping rough on a piece of wasteland where he is awakened by strange noises outside of his cardboard box shelter.
Upon investigating, he is plunged into a fantastic twilight world of specially gifted teenagers who are fighting for their very existence on the streets of East London, running and hiding from an unknown adversary hell-bent on capturing them for reasons unknown. But it can’t be for anything good.

BLOOD DEBT and RATMAN, two separate novels, plunging Devlin and O’Shea into a twilight world of death and ancient evil.
The desperate struggle for survival continues.
ABHARTACH
If you think vampires belong to Transylvania, Irish Folklore has a darker surprise. A chilling story comes from the north: Abhartach, described in later traditions as a cruel chieftain, sometimes a sorcerer, originating in Count Derry.
In the story Abhartach’s reign is so feared that a warrior kills him. But even in death the community refuse to honour him. He is buried upright, a humiliation, meant to mock him as disgraced. That should have ended it.
It didn’t.
Abhartach rises from the grave, demanding tribute from his people. Not cattle, not silver but bowls of human blood to sustain his undead body.
Terrified the warrior seeks council, Druidic advice. He is told brute force is useless against Abhartach unless it becomes ritual. Abhartach must be killed with a weapon of Yew, (A tree long associated with death and graveyards.) then buried head down so he cannot claw his way back and the unholy grave sealed under a stone. Only then does the land fall quiet.
Abhartach is a tyrant who refuses to stay dead. Blood tribute isn’t merely horror, it’s exploitation made literal: the ruler who consumes his people.
